My background is in environmental planning, geography, and environmental justice. I am interested in environmental justice, floods, and cultural landscapes particularly as it pertains to Latine communities in Texas. I’m also an artist. My artwork explores my experience as a gay, first - gen,  Mexican - American growing up on the Texas - Mexico borderlands. I produce pieces tied to my professional and academic interests. I work with graphite pencils, colored pencils, ink pens, and digital art.
